Lisa of Harlands Organic Furnishings and Bridget of Pieces Of You have been running their own companies for some time. They were aware of the lack of Eco Retailers on the High street and needed a permanent home for their respective collections. 

Recognizing that many Eco Designers and Artists are in the same situation, the idea of hosting a space where other people could join in their collaboration was born. It is also important to Lisa and Bridget that the goods in the shop are first and foremost covetable. That people fall in love with the organic throws, the beautiful antique fabric cushions and the gorgeous recycled fabric Christmas Decorations before they fully appreciate their green message.  

A desire to make being green an aesthetic and moral choice runs strongly through Harlands and this is clear from the traditional designs of their furniture, the iconic  textiles used and the accessories they buy in.
