Spook-tacular Southside!

Saturday 24th through to Saturday 31st October

Dust off that broomstick and fly your family down to the Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth this half term for some spook-tacular Halloween fun!

Kicking off the fright-fest from 10 am on Saturday 24th through to Saturday 31st October is a series of FREE children's Halloween arts and crafts workshops. A friendly, creative team will be on hand to help children create horrible handprint bats, scary spiders, ghostly ghouls, wicked witch stick-puppets and more!

On the 31st there is a whole day of face painting planned, so the ‘ghouls' and boys can put the finishing touches to their Halloween costumes! Plus, some extra ghostly entertainment is in store!

If those shivery shenanigans have worked up a hunger, then you are in luck. Throughout the weekend our team will be handing out some ‘spooky savers', redeemable in Happy Days, McDonalds, Spur, Pizza Hut, KFC & BB's Coffee and Muffins.

General Manager at Southside, Neil Churchill, is excited about the week ahead, “Half-term can often be a bit boring for kids, so we thought we'd make it as much fun as possible! And everyone loves Halloween!”

Neil reckons the activities will be a real success, “The kids are sure to have a fantastic time and hopefully get a buzz out of creating their own creepy crafts! It'll be great to see so many families enjoying themselves at Southside.”

The Free Halloween workshop will run during half term, from Saturday 24th October to Saturday 31st October between 10am and 5pm, except on Sunday when the workshop will begin at 11am.

As well as boasting large selection of big name stores, cafes and restaurants, Southside also contains a 14-screen Cineplex cinema, showing all the latest releases for children and adults. And for those wanting to offset their Halloween indulgences there is the Virgin Active gym.
