In Conversation with Richard Wentworth


Photographer and curator Richard Wentworth will present examples of his work

This Thursday evening renowned British artist, photographer and curator Richard Wentworth will present examples of his work and talk about his practise at The Stables, Ram Brewery, Wandsworth Town Centre. ‘In Conversation with Richard Wentworth’ will explore his fascination with the bizarre coincidences of urban life and encourage us to look afresh at cityspace and the humanity it contains. 

This event is free to attend and takes place on Thursday, 14 May between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.  Richard will also be introducing the photoWANDSWORTH09 competition. Entry forms will be available on the night, or to download from at www.wandsworth.gov.uk/arts ‘In Conversation with Richard Wentworth’ is part of the Wandsworth Arts Festival which runs from May 8 to 24.

The festival builds to a spectacular finale, The Shimmy, where an array of surprise outdoor arts will take place by the river between Putney Bridge and Wandsworth Park. The event runs from 2pm to 7pm, Sunday 24 May.
