Local Volunteering Opportunities Available With Link Up

Fancy using your skills to benefit local charities and community groups? Link Up Battersea is currently recruiting professionals in the area and would be very glad to here from you.

Link UP recruits volunteers and works with charities throughout the borough of Wandsworth, bringing together individuals who are willing to share their professional skills with local charities, community groups and social enterprises that need these skills to make a real difference in the community. All of the volunteers are professionals and whilst some are in work others are retired, semi-retired or not currently working.

The charitable organisation's projects are structured, have clear start and end dates, are flexible to fit in with busy lives and are designed to make a difference. Link UP ensures that projects are a good fit for both the organisations and the volunteers.

To date, Link UP has had over 35 volunteer placements within 15 organisations on projects including IT, marketing, human resources, research, writing, strategy development, and web design.

If you are interested in volunteering, or you are a charitable organisation in Wandsworth with a project that needs a skilled volunteer, please contact Link Up on info@linkup-battersea.org

Link UP was founded in 2015 under the umbrella of the Katherine Low Settlement, a multi-purpose charity serving the communities of Battersea and Wandsworth since 1924. Link UP has recently received funding from the Battersea Power Station Foundation to help grow its activity in Wandsworth.
