The President of the British Beekeepers Association, Margaret Murdin, will be delivering an illustrated talk on the life and life cycle of the honey bee at the next Friends of Battersea Park lunchtime lecture.

Honey Bee Life Cycle Spring Lunchtime Lecture

She will be covering such topics as their methods of communication and behaviour, why they are so successful as insects and how they differ from bumble bees.

Doors open and pre-ordered lunch available from 12.15. Lecture from 1.00 – 2.00 pm

Sandwiches, fruit, cakes etc can be pre-ordered and may be eaten whilst listening. Coffee, tea, juice, wine and lager will be available for a small donation.
