Springfield Mental Health Hospital Patient Goes Missing

Charles Haynes needs to return for his treatment

Police are appealing for assistance in tracing a man who has been missing from Springfield Mental Health Hospital since 21 January.

Charles Haynes, 35, was last seen in Tooting Broadway when he made off from staff while on escorted leave from the hospital. He is undergoing a course of treatment in relation to his mental health and needs to return to hospital.

Charles is white, approximately 5ft 8inches tall, of heavy build with blue eyes and dark brown hair. He is known to have links with the Wandsworth and Kingston areas.

He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, green shirt, black jumper, green tracksuit bottoms and grey trainers.

Anyone who has seen Charles Haynes, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact Wandsworth Police via 101. Although Charles is not considered to be a danger to the public, people are advised not to approach him but to call police should he be seen
