Ferrari Ploughs Into Pedestrians On Battersea Park Road in Wandsworth

Police were called just before 10.30am this morning (Monday 12th December) to reports of a collision between a car and a number of pedestrians on Battersea Park Road.

The driver of the car - a red Ferrari 458 - stopped at the scene. A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody at west London police station.

Police, the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance all attended the scene.

In total seven people were taken to hospital. Five were treated for minor injuries and discharged. Two remain in hospital and police await an update on their condition.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of the collision.
