Unto Us A Child Is Born

A Christmas Concert in support of Paul’s Cancer Support Centre

Paul’s Cancer Support Centre is a small local charity with big ambitions to support those affected by the aftermath of a cancer diagnosis. They offer counselling, befriending, complementary therapies and wellbeing services, free of charge, at any stage of the cancer journey.

Receiving a cancer diagnosis can be shattering, both physically and emotionally. Paul’s aims to connect with the individual, and collaboratively design with them a bespoke programme to help them to build their resilience, to understand and face their diagnosis, and to face the future with confidence. Paul’s is there every step of the way, from the point of diagnosis onwards. They help patients, their families, friends and carers, for as long as they need it via the charity's centre in Battersea and their unique home visiting service.

A spokesperson for the Centre said, "We are working hard to connect with people in our local area. Raising funds is a constant challenge, and we need support from our community. We are therefore proud to invite one and all to join us for “Unto us a Child is Born” – a Christmas Concert featuring music from the Fulham Camerata Choir, festive readings, and refreshments. It promises to be a truly lovely evening."

"The Paul’s Christmas Concert takes place on Thursday 6th December 2018 at 7.00pm, at St Mary’s Church, Putney High Street. We are delighted that the event has been very generously sponsored by Douglas & Gordon, and we have also received kind donations from local businesses Glug Wine Merchants, Stay Wild Flowers and Sainsbury’s Riverlight."

Tickets cost £15 (£10 concessions) and can be purchased via Eventbrite or by phoning Paul’s on 020 7801 2968.
