Body found in second floor flat
Firefighters were called to a flat in Beaumont Road, Southfields early yesterday morning. Part of the second floor flat in the three storey building was damaged by fire and the body of a man was found in the living room.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 06.56 and the fire was under control by 08.22. Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers from Wandsworth, Tooring, Battersea and Fulham fire stations attended the incident.
