Following an incident in Welham Road on Monday
Two men have been charged with the murder of a man in Tooting.
Jason Lewin, 33, of Morden and John Palmer, 30, of Sutton have also been charged with aggravated burglary with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
Police await formal identification but say they are satisfied that they know the identity of the deceased as Peter Lee, 75, of Welham Road Tooting,
A post-mortem examination held on Tuesday (2 June) at St George's Hospital mortuary gave cause of death as severe head injury.
A 28-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of murder on 3 June. He was taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody.
