Transition Town Wandsworth Meet Weekly

Every Sunday at the beautifully renovated Bramford Community Gardens

Transition Town Wandsworth is a fairly small local group, which has already produced a successful, award-winning productive community garden in Bramford Gardens, SW18, just next to Wandsworth Town Station and under the railway bridge.

Apart from growing a range of fruits, herbs and vegetables, they have also planted some trees to make the space much more attractive than it originally was.

The group is seeking to grow and hopefully work with the Council on other spaces, as well as with schools, residents and businesses to make Wandsworth more sustainable and more enjoyble.

For more information go to the Transition Town site at ttwandsworth.wordpress.com and the community garden site at ttwandsworth.wordpress.com/community-garden

The group meets every Sunday at the Bramfiord Community Gardens at the top end of Old York Road (behind Homebase) from around 11.30. They occasionally hold talks and socials as well. If you are interested contact: ttwandsworth@hotmail.co.uk
