Witness Appeal After Burglar Escapes Through Gardens


Police advising residents to secure windows and doors

Police in Wandsworth are investigating a burglary that occurred on Lavender Sweep between 1:40pm and 2:00pm on Wednesday
10th October 2012.

It is believed the suspect entered the rear of the premises which was left unsecured before being confronted by the occupier.

The suspect then escaped through the gardens at the back of the premises.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses that may be able to assist and to advise people about securing the windows and doors of
their properties if they leave the house.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged around 28-34 years old, with light coloured
slightly curly hair.
