Council Tax Goes Online
Wandsworth residents can now set up an online account
Wandsworth Council’s new online self-service facility for Council Tax, means customers who register will receive secure login details which will enable them to view their account over the internet.
They will be able to check their balance and see what payments have been made, what instalments are due and any reductions that have been applied.
Customers can also submit on-line forms to rapidly tell the council tax department about any change of circumstances - for example they if they are moving or if they want to apply for a discount or exemption.
This will include the facility to upload any additional documents that may support applications.
In addition, residents who no longer wish to receive paper bills in the post can sign up to view their bill over the internet instead. An email will be sent when a new bill is available to view. This option is greener, avoids postal delays and provides a record of all bills sent following any change of circumstances.
