Harland & Voss Electricians Offers Donation To Local Charity

Plea for Wandsworth Women's Charities to come forward and claim the money

London electricians Harland & Voss are asking Wandsworth and Wimbledon charities to apply for its annual International Womens’ Day Donation.

The donation is given on March 8th each year to a London charity that promotes womens’ health, education and wellbeing.  But no group from south west London has ever applied for the award, which is worth £800 this year.

Sue Granik, Director of Business Development for Harland & Voss, says: “We would love to be able to support women’s charities in the Wandsworth and Wimbledon areas, but we need these groups to come forward and tell us who they are.

“We prioritise registered charities that provide a direct service to women in their local area. The organisations we’ve helped in previous years range from the Womens’ Library in central London, to a charity which helps disadvantaged women in north and east London find work. We are sure there are some equally worthwhile causes in Wandsworth and Wimbledon, and that £800 could be put to very good use.”

Interested charities can contact Harland & Voss on 0208 451 0345 or make contact via its website www.harlandvoss.com .
