Eight Arrested Over Shooting Of Schoolgirl in Jamaica

More of Imani Green's family have now flown out to Jamaica

Eight people have been arrested following the shooting of Imani Green in Jamaica last Friday.

The eight year old, who was possibly the victim of a long standing feud, was holidaying with family.

She had been given spacial leave from Fircroft Primary School to take advantage of the warm Jamaican climate in the hopes of alleviating the symptoms of her sickle cell anaemia.

She was shot twice in the attack, in the head and the shoulder. Three of her relatives were also
caught up in the gunfire, but survived.

More of Imani's family have now flown out from Wandsworth to be with the family in Jamaica.
