Local MP calls for help in Battersea Park On Christmas Day
Jane Ellison, MP for Battersea, serving Battersea, Balham and Wandsworth, will once again be helping out at the Rotary Club’s Party for the Elderly on Christmas Day in Battersea Park.
Jane said, “This is always a very worthwhile event, which volunteers and guests really enjoy, and I am hoping that local people might sign up to be Bus Escorts on the day.
"The Rotary Club is desperately short of these volunteers. It would involve going out on one of the 55 buses to pick up guests and take them to Battersea Park in the morning, and it would also be appreciated if helpers could escort the guests back to their homes on the buses later in the day.”
