Local MP urges Wandsworth clubs to apply for grants
Following Budweiser’s announcement that they will be investing £1 million into grassroots football in the UK over the next two seasons, Jane Ellison MP is encouraging local football clubs to apply for one of the Club Future grants.
Speaking about the initiative, the Wandsworth MP said: “Football clubs play a vital role in encouraging participation and creating opportunities for people to take part in grassroots sport and bringing local communities together. The Budweiser club Futures campaign will allow clubs to become more financially sustainable and I would urge local clubs to consider participating. The programme will also provide for Budweiser to work with the winning clubs to promote responsible drinking in the community.”
