A man has today been charged with murdering a pensioner at her home in Battersea yesterday.
William Smith, 49, of Atheldene Road, SW18,
appeared this morning (28 December) at Lavender
Hill Magistrates' Court charged with
the murder of an 86-year-old woman at an address
in Kennet Close, SW11, on Thursday 27 December.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday 2 January 2013.
