And teenager charged with manslaughter
Aaron Burnett, 20, of no fixed abode appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates court last week charged with the murder of Mashboor Hussain, 73, on Tuesday 11th February in Wandsworth.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on 5th March.
Meanwhile Kofi Yeboah, 19, of Mitcham has been charged with aggravated burglary and the manslaughter of Mr. Hussain.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on Monday 24th February.
Police officers were called at 11:45hrs on Tuesday 11th February to reports of a disturbance at Mr Hussain's home in Selkirk Road.
Passers-by had heard noise and seen two men banging on the door of the property.
Officers, including firearms officers, attended and spoke to the occupants. Mr Hussain then collapsed and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:53hrs.
