A triple bill of one-act plays by Noel Coward

Tonight at 8:30 is a cycle of one-act plays by Noel Coward. This spring the Wandsworth New Stagers is performing three of these plays together as a triple bill:

The Astonished Heart is directed by Cat Fox-Kirk

Psychiatrist D. Christian Faberi is happily married to Barbara but when he meets Barbara’s friend, Leonora, they begin a destructive affair which leads to tragedy.

Alec and Laura meet by chance at a railway station and an intense love affair soon follows. Over a period of twelve months the couple meet regularly until eventually, agonised by guilt, both agree to say their goodbyes. However, what should be a passionate final farewell is not to be.
