Nine Elms Regeneration Open Days


For locals who want to find out more

Two open days will be held next month where local people can come to find out more about the transformation of the Nine Elms Vauxhall area.

The events are an opportunity to speak to those involved in the project, raise any local concerns and to have your say.

Where: Market Towers, 1 Nine Elms Lane, Vauxhall, SW8 5NQ

When: Thursday 15 November, 3pm to 8pm & Friday 16 November, 8am to 6pm

These free, open-to-all events will offer:

  • The latest information about the area's first 26 development sites
  • An update on major transport upgrades including the Northern Line Extension
  • An update on plans to recreate Vauxhall as a lively riverside town centre, which include changes to the gyratory
  • Information about new public open spaces being created across the area, including the linear park and riverside walk
  • A 3D model of the new look Nine Elms Vauxhall area
  • An opportunity to meet local business groups involved in the regeneration programme
  • An update on plans to create a jobs brokerage service for local people

There is not need to RSVP, just turn up on the day.

The open days are being hosted by the Nine Elms Vauxhall Partnership which includes Lambeth and Wandsworth Councils, the area's main developers and landowners, the Mayor of London, Transport for London and the Greater London Authority.
