Bus Driver Racially Abused In Wandsworth


Police from the Met and TfL appeal for witnesses

Police Officers from the joint Transport for London and Metropolitan Police Service Safer Transport Command Workplace Violence Unit, are appealing for information in connection with a racially aggravated public order offence in Wandsworth.



The incident occurred on Sunday 27 January at about 4am, on board a route 333 bus, travelling along Mitcham Lane towards Streatham.

A group of men boarded, however the driver challenged two of them when their Oyster Cards were rejected.

The suspect became verbally abusive before they all alighted.

The suspect is described as a white man, wearing a baseball cap, light coloured hooded top and dark jacket.
