Fatal Collision on St John's Hill

Police appeal for witnesses as motorcyclist dies

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on St Johns Hill, SW11.

At approximately 22:00hrs on Saturday 24 March, police and London Ambulance Service were called to St Johns Hill following reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a car.

The motorcyclist, 21-year-old Nickolas Amor, was taken to St George's Hospital where he died a short time later.

A post-mortem examination gave cause of death as multiple injuries. An inquest has been opened and adjourned at Fulham Coroner's Court.

Detective Sergeant Jeff Edwards, who is leading the investigation, said:"I am grateful for a number of
people who stopped at the scene to assist Nickolas that night. This stretch of road was fairly
busy with commuters at that time and I would urge anyone who may have seen any of the parties in the moments leading up to the collision, or the collision itself, to contact police."

Anyone with information is asked to call the Road Death Investigation Unit at Hampton Traffic Garage's witness appeal line on 020 8941 9011, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. The driver stopped at the scene. No arrests were made. Enquiries are ongoing.
