Speedboat Accident Family Are From Wandsworth
Nick Milligan and his daughter were killed in Cornwall yesterday
51 year old Nick Milligan, a BSkyB senior exceutive, and his eight year old daughter were killed yesterday in a speedboat accident near Padstow in Cornwall.
His 39 year old wife and four year old son were airlifted to hospital with severe injuries, while his two other daughters, aged 12 and 10, suffered minor injuries. The family house is in Wandsworth SW18 and they also owned a holiday home in Trebetherick, Cornwall.
Video footage shows the family's rigid inflatable speedboat circling out of control, and the boat has been retrieved for examination.
A BSkyB spokesperson said: "Everyone at Sky is deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic accident." Mr Milligan was Managing Director of Sky Media.
