Get your vote in for the 14th annual Active Wandsworth Awards
Time is running out to nominate local people who have made an outstanding contribution to sport and physical activity for an Active Wandsworth Award.
The council's sports team is seeking nominations for the 14th annual awards. The competition rewards talented local sports performers, coaches, volunteers, teams and clubs for their exceptional achievements during 2010.
They want to hear about teams, clubs and individuals who have achieved outstanding performance in their field or represented their borough or country. Volunteers and coaches can also be nominated for outstanding contribution and commitment to sport.
All nominees must live, go to school or be a member of a sports club in the borough.
There are eight categories, including voluntary services to sport and physical activity, young volunteer of the year and the Mayor's award.
All achievements must have taken place between January 1st and December 31st 2010. The closing date for entries is February 11th 2011.
Pick up a form from council reception points, Wandsworth leisure centres and libraries or from Leisure and Sports Services, Room 60, Wandsworth Town Hall . Alternatively, nomination forms can be downloaded at www.wandsworth.gov.uk/active
