17-year-old was stabbed to death
A murder investigation has been launched following a stabbing in the early hours of Sunday morning (23 April).
Police were called at 1.25am to reports of a disturbance and a male stabbed in Ingrave Street.
Officers found a 17-year-old male suffering stab injuries. The victim was taken to a south London hospital where he was pronounced dead just before 3am.
Although formal identification has yet to take place, officers believe they have established his identity and next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating and here has been no arrest at this stage.
