The Traders Association of St John’s Hill will host the 4th annual festival on Sunday 9th September 2012. This free event will feature a variety of dance genres, as well as live music and delicious food and drink from 11am to 5pm.

The event will include all the usual festival favourites, including the Great Golden Goldfish racing outside FishClub and the pavements will be packed with stalls and activities, reaching from Grant Road to the Plough pub. This year’s NEW feature will be several types of dance, so visitors can watch and/or learn the steps in the special, one-off classes. On each corner of the Hill, you will find different styles of dance, from zumba to swing and from street dance to salsa and many more!

There will also be over 50 visiting stall holders to the Hill for this event, selling a huge variety of high quality goods from Sicilian olive oil to freshly baked cakes and handmade silver jewellery. The bars, restaurants and cafes along St John’s Hill will be offering up delicious foodie treats from cuisines around the world - including Indian, Eritrean, British and Italian!

The Festival will be host a raffle to help raise money for this year’s chosen charity: the St John’s Hill Community Project. Prizes have been kindly donated by the traders of St Johns Hill. Visitors may buy their raffle tickets from traders on St John’s Hill in advance and on the day of the event. The winners will be announced at 4pm on the day of the event on one of the stages where live music is being held.

The Trader’s Association would like to thank the four main Sponsors for their support of this year’s event: Ben’s Canteen, FishClub, Experience Travel and Powder Keg Diplomacy.
