Victim still in critical condition as detectives call for help
Detectives in Wandsworth are appealing for help in identifying a man following a stabbing in Tooting.
Police have released an image of a male they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. The stabbing took place on Derinton Road, Tooting at approximately 19.45hrs on Friday 5th August 2011.
The victim, a 28-year-old male, was taken to hospital with a stab wound to the chest and remains there in a critical condition. It is believed he was stabbed following an altercation in the street.
