Tango Music Summer School At World Heart Beat Academy

With top tango artist Blas Rivera

This Summer World Heart Beat is hosting the world class Argentinian tango artist Blas Rivera, who will be leading the Academy's first Summer School. All instrumentalists are welcome, and vocalists too.

As a sonorous bridge between the cradles of tango and jazz, the music of Blas Rivera blends with mastery the passions of both 'poles' of the Americas with the technical sophistication of the classics. The result is an experience that puts intelligence and emotion together.

There will be two classes - one for young musicians at grades 1-8, and another for advanced musicians. The course is £70 for all 4 days, and there are also limited bursaries available on application. This is a unique opportunity for young musicians to widen their repertoire and immerse themselves in the c’est la vie summer lifestyle that tango embodies.
