World Heart Beat Is Raising Crucial Funds For A New Music Venue In Nine Elms, Wandsworth
A mock-up of the new space in Embassy Gardens

World Heart Beat is expanding with the intention of extending its impact to a wider and more diverse community. The Wandsworth based charity has been awarded a building in the regeneration area of Nine Elms at Embassy Gardens for the sum of just £1 a year for 50 years.

The team now needs to transform the building into a venue where the wider London community can enjoy at least 150 concerts a year - a place that young people can learn music, thrive in the community and launch their careers.

However this exciting new project requires funding. World Hear Beat is asking residents to help fund the crucial first part of its building which will cascade the developer’s additional commitment to install the mezzanine and façade to specification. This will complete the £425k of the £1,180m building costs.

The academy's idea iis to get lots of people to donate small amounts so they can reach the target quickly
