Auction frenzy achieves sale four times the guide price

Located in 'nappy valley' the three shabby garages built in the 1950s were put up for sale by Wandsworth Council with an guide price of £130,000 and the frenzy began after the opening bid of £175,000!

It is thought that the successful bidder, who paid £500,000 will demolish the garages with plans to build a residential building.
