As part of Wandsworth’s ongoing London Borough of Culture celebrations, the council has announced that 500 heavily discounted tickets to Secret Cinema’s Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical will be available to eligible residents through its Access for All programme.

Cardholders will be able to purchase tickets for just £3, subject to availability, for the immersive production taking place at Evolution London in Battersea Park.

The show runs from Friday 1 August to Sunday 7 September and marks Secret Cinema’s return to London with a new format that blends live performance with cinematic storytelling.

Deputy Council Leader Kemi Akinola said the partnership aimed to “ensure everyone can enjoy their Summer Nights.” She added, “Wandsworth Council has partnered with Secret Cinema bringing Access For All to the production of Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical. This is the one that you want, so don’t miss out on this immersive experience.”

Access for All is a long-standing council scheme offering reduced-price access to events, education, and leisure opportunities for Wandsworth residents in receipt of benefits or meeting other eligibility criteria.

The production offers an interactive experience where audience members are encouraged to explore recreated locations such as Frosty’s Palace and Rydell High’s gym, and take part in themed activities alongside actors playing familiar characters from the 1978 film.

Director Matt Costain said the experience blends “the film’s timeless youthful exuberance” with Secret Cinema’s immersive approach, calling it “much more than any screening or stage show that’s gone before.”

To apply for discounted tickets, eligible residents should email accessforall@enable.com to receive a unique redemption link. More information about Access for All including eligibility is available via Wandsworth Council’s website.
