Woman Seriously Injured in Trinity Road Crash

A woman has been seriously injured after the car in which she was a passenger hit a lamp-post and trees in Trinity Road, Wandsworth.

Police are seeking another car that was involved in the incident that did not stop at the scene as the driver is believed to be a potentially significant witness.

The crash took place at around 10.25pm on Tuesday, 24 January. Police believe that the car, a BMW, was being driven at speed close to a white Mercedes, possibly an AMG model, at the time of the collision. The passenger in the BMW, a 19-year-old woman, was taken to hospital where her condition is described as serious but stable.

The driver of the car, a 28-year-old man, was also taken to hospital having sustained minor injuries. He has not been arrested.

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.
