Two Seriously Injured in York Road Collision

Two people have been injured following a collision between a motorcyclist and a bicycle rider this Thursday (19 September) in Battersea.

Eye-witnesses reported seeing five emergency service vehicles at the scene near the junction of Mendip Road and York Road (A3205).

A London Ambulance Spokesperson said, “We were called at 7:17am today (Thursday) to reports of a road traffic collision on York Road, SW11.

“We dispatched a number of resources to the scene including two ambulance crews, two medics in response cars and a medic on a motorbike.

"We treated two people at the scene and took them both to a major trauma centre."

According to a spokesperson for the police neither the motorcyclist or the bicycle rider suffered life-threatening injuries.
