Equipment stolen by gang of youths
Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a burglary at Sir James Barrie School, Wandsworth, on Saturday 18 November at around 7pm. As yet no arrests have been made and investigatiosn are continuing.
A group of young males broke into the primary school and stole an assortment of computer equipment: projectors, monitors and two hard drives. They are all marked with the school name.
Suspects are described as slim youths dressed in grey tracksuits with hoods and gloves, wearing black Haraches and Nike Airmax 110's trainers. Their faces were covered with white masks. They carried backpacks and torches. One of the suspects has a slight protruding face and dark hair and it’s thought they may have been driving a dark Ford escort.
Detective Constable Hannah Mervis, the investigating officer, said, “The thieves have stolen the school's computers and the children's opportunities. I urge anyone with information to come forward to the police.”
