Four fire engines attend the blaze in Southfields

A fire broke out at a semi-detached house in Southfields this Tuesday afternoon (20 August).

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to the incident in Girdwood Road.

Part of the roof of the house was damaged by fire.

The Brigade was called at 3.51pm and the fire was under control less than an hour later. Fire crews from Hammersmith, Richmond, Battersea and Fulham fire stations attended the scene.

There are no reports of anybody being injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
