The latest shop to open in the Southside Shopping Centre is Søstrene Grene a homewares store sometimes described as the ‘Danish Ikea’.

It offers a range of products for bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and gardens and in the first London store for the group which already has 11 across the rest of the UK. Items generally have Nordic-inspired aesthetics and minimalistic, Scandinavian designs at prices which aim to be affordable.

The official opening took place on 12 May with the Mayor of Wandsworth Jeremy Ambache and the Style Sisters on hand to do the honours.

Coming to the centre in July is Parthian Climbing which is a chain of climbing centres catering to beginners and more experience climbers. It aims to provide a safe activity which is both challenging and fun and will provide a variety of ropes and boulders for both adults and children along with training courses. This will be its first opening in London.
